So we have taken the jump!!!

We have signed the paperwork to begin the building process for our next house. I know it sounds crazy to upgrade from a 3100 sq ft house, but it will give us plenty of room for the kids and any future kids we may have. It comes with 6 bedrooms with another 3 possible in the unfinished basement. 5 bathrooms as well. It will require Anna to work a little longer to help us with some of the moving expenses, but it will be worth it. We want the kids to feel that they can stay as long as they need after they graduate from HS..in our current home it would be extremely tight. The lot we choose is a corner lot and it's in a neighborhood only 1 minute away from where we are right now. We've had a few people come by looking at the house, but nothing serious yet. Luckily we have a good amount of equity, which allows us to lower it if needed. I think it's pretty close to what comparable houses are in the area.

Today was N's birthday. Sweet sixteen. He is having a little get together tomorrow. We are hoping he can get his license sometime this summer. Overall the kids are doing well. R is probably the most polite little girl I have known. She always says thank you jacob or you're welcome. The kids definitely have a piece of my heart. At times I think I try too hard to correct poor behavior, but I really hope we can be a good influence of what is good in life...and how life can be happy and consistent. It looks like adoption could be started as soon as April.

So hope everything goes forward smoothly. When will it be done? Have you de-cluttered your house yet? Lots of work ahead of you.

Good luck with the house!
AND GET THAT MUSIC OFF YOUR BLOG IMMEDIATELY. There is nothing as annoying as music that starts automatically on a blog.

Congrats on the adventure! I hope your current house sells quickly. What a blessing that will be when you adopt. I hope that process goes smoothly. :)
